We also suggest that the solenoid switch valve plugs be inspected or replaced with 92835-02K (OE) or 92835-18K (oversized).
Accumulator Plate
Screws with Washers Three additional mounting holes keep plate secure
1. Drill Plate a. Using the new Sonnax accumulator cover plate as a template, drill and tap three additional holes into the valve body using No. 19 (.166" diameter) drill and the Sonnax 44892-TL tap. b. Place the shim between the overdrive accumulator piston and spring. 2. Installation & Assembly a. Install the Sonnax accumulator cover plate with six new screws and washers around the OD/UD accumulators. Reuse OE screws in other locations. Coat threads with thread locking compound. b. Torque the six provided Sonnax screws to 70 in-lb. Torque the four OE screws to 40 in-lb. See photo below for locations and identification. Squares indicate locations of OE screws which cannot have thicker-head fasteners. Torque to 40 in-lb. Circles indicate the six Sonnax provided screw locations which keep plate secure. Torque to 70 in-lb.
