4B Superstar Daveners

By Morris Dweck A lot of people in MDS are stupendous daveners! 4B, in particular, has a passion for davening which a colossal amount of the school hears. A reason for this is that lot of people get inspired by Bren’s House in 4B.

your name is written down, letter by letter, in the drawing of a house on the board. If you are davening well, your name gets circled. If a lot of people’s names are circled, then we get more time for dodgeball after lunch.

Bren is a created person that invites people to his house if you daven well. If you get invited, that means

This is important because davening allows us to feel closer to G-d. 4B gets extremely close to

G-d. Let’s see which part of davening is 4B’s favorite. 4B’s favorite part is (drum roll please) Ani Mamene. These are the reasons that 4B are such magnificent daveners.

Recess with Rebbe By Rafi Lubetski

In MDS in Rooms 312 and 313, recess is the favorite period of the day. We play football, soccer and elimination. If Rabbi Genack let’s us, we choose to play dodgeball. I took a poll to find out that the most popular sport is elimination. Elimination is popular because it is lots of fun and can have multiple games played within the period, as the games are short. Also, you don’t need to train, unlike soccer or baseball, and you don’t need to buy any equipment for elimination. Lastly, you can play elimination anywhere, unlike hockey or other sports.

In Room 312, the students of Fourth Grade have been voting about their favorite pets. This survey shows the results. As you can see 4B’s

favorite pet is a dog! Also, if you look, you will see that 4B’s second favorite pet is a tie between a guinea pig and a fish. A dog is probably in first place because they are loyal, easy to train, cute, and fun. Also, some of the reasons for the tie may be that a guinea pig and a fish are both small and easy to take care of.

Zev and Ms. Hendler agree on their favorite breed of dogs—pugs!
