It’s Loving God and Loving Each Other! Our pastor shared a message with us in February with the main points being that when you boil the gospel down; it really is simple. Love God and love each other! We can make things so hard! Get on this bandwagon. Support this cause. Send money to this place. It’ like we have to get in on the next best thing; when the whole time the Lord is telling us, ”If you will just love Me with all of your heart, you soul, your mind and strength and love your neighbor as you love yourself; you can change the world. Sometimes we are known more for what we are against instead, of what we are for! We are to be lights in the midst of a world that is dark and so mixed up. People are looking everywhere for answers. People are searching for peace. Deep down people want true joy. They can find all of this in a relationship with Jesus Christ. Remember these truths each day and live in such a way that others will see Jesus in you! I am really excited about our new ministry with Boomers (1946-64) getting off the ground in the coming weeks. We will be scheduling events just for this group as they prepare for ministry and retirement in the years to come. Be sure to sign up to attend our Caregiver College, Senior Adult Revival and Mission project at Penelope’s Closet this month. We will have a church-wide work day on Saturday, March 25th for some much needed spring cleaning. Thank you for all you do! Remember! Love God and love each other!
Blessings, Brother Ronnie http://www.cottagehill.org/55-ministry
Upcoming Events Don’t Miss our first ever Caregiver College!
We are reaching out to our members and people in our community who are caring for their loved ones. If you know of someone who needs help in dealing with issues related to caregiving; please tell them about this one day event. They must register through the Area Agency on Aging and flyers are available at the 55+ Significant Living Desk and Atrium Desk. It starts on Thursday, March 9th at 8:30 in our Sr. High Ministry Area and ends at 3:00. A Lite lunch will be provided.

Join us at this Alabama Baptist sponsored event featuring Retired pastor of FBC Fairhope Jerry Henry, Pastor Chris Bell of 3Circle Church Eastern Shore, CHBC Unashamed Quartet, and worship led by Ronnie McCarson with Pianist Frank Jones. We leave the church at 7:45 a.m. and return after lunch. There is no cost for this event. Bring spending money for lunch and more.
March 23rd – LWYL Missions/Penelope’s Closet
It is always a fun time when we help out at the Thrift Store for this wonderful ministry that helps support battered women and their children. We help straighten up the store, which includes sizing and hanging clothes in their rightful place. The big bonus is that you get to shop as well and find a bargain. All of the proceeds will go toward supporting this ministry. We leave the church at 9 a.m. and return before lunch. Please sign up at the 55+ Significant Living Desk or call our office at 660-2441.
