8th graders

2017-2018 St. Eleanor’s CYO Basketball Key Dates: for 7th/8th graders



Open Gyms: o Open Gyms will be held for 7th and 8th graders on the following Sundays at the times listed below at the Holy Cross Regional Catholic School gym  Girls: Sundays 10/15, 10/22 and 10/29 from 6:30 to 7:45pm  Boys: Sundays 10/22 and 10/29 from 8 to 9:15pm



Winter Sports Meeting: Thursday October 19th at 7:00pm at Holy Cross Regional Catholic School (Cafeteria). A parent of each registered participant is expected to attend.



Varsity/Parish Basketball Team Evaluations: o Tryouts for the CYO Varsity Boys and Girls Basketball Teams will be held on the following dates/times in the locations listed below :  Girls: at Holy Cross Regional Catholic School(enter in the rear of the building)  Thursday 11/2: 6:30 – 8:00pm  Friday 11/3: 6:30-8:00pm  Boys: at Pope John Paul II High School  Thursday 11/2: 6:30 – 8:00pm  Friday 11/3: 6:30-8:00pm o Notes:  Tryouts are open to 7th and 8th graders that are registered for this upcoming basketball season.  All registered athletes will be placed on a team. One Varsity Boys and one Varsity Girls team will be selected. Those that do not make the Varsity Teams will be placed on “Parish” teams
