Cindy Cubberley and Pat Juza joined West Suburban and South Suburban AOII sisters for the Jingle Bell Run in Wheaton. The team raised $1830 for the Arthritis Foundation. Vicky Stumpf from West Suburban shared a truly gourmet tailgate picnic!

It’s always good to see Lake County Alum Chapter’s Linda Grandolfo, AOII Foundation Secretary, as well as new Board Chair of the Chicago Arthritis Foundation’s Leadership Board. Congratulations Linda!

Twenty three AOII sisters attended our December meeting and gift exchange in Tammy Escobar’s lovely Barrington home. Thank you to Judy Zawacke and Sue Blakely for co-hosting. Keep those pop tops coming. We have started on pitcher #7. Thank you to Laura Schellenbach for getting her church involved in collecting for Ronald McDonald House!!

Happy New

Year!! Sue Dunmead’s “original” holiday poem added laughter to the gift exchange. The gifts were exciting to receive, especially the AOII towel and keychain Sarah Reschly ended up with, a creation of Cathy Taylor. Cathy showed Christie, Tina, Sarah, Diane, and George some of her other creations pictured on her phone.
