SOMA Service Adult Sunday School Children’s Sunday School
A men’s Bible study, “Temptation: Standing Strong Against Temptation”, meets each Wednesday night at 7:00PM in Room 203. This is a study of the Book of James that will equip you to think clearly and choose wisely when dealing with temptation. Questions, contact Rick At Lee at [email protected].
All Senior Adults are invited to join us April 10th (note change of date, originally in March) at 5:00PM for a Potluck Dinner and a Movie. We will eat in the Fellowship Hall and move to Room 204 for a movie. Sign up in class.
We're in the process of putting together a fall trip to Jamaica (September 12-19) for Evangelism/Outreach through two ministry platforms: Dental Clinics and Deaf Ministry. We're wanting to take a team of 4 or 5 dentists (with support staff) to provide oral care and also taking a team from our Deaf Ministry to work with students at a Deaf School in Mandeville. We will have a short Informational Meeting on Sunday, April 12th immediately following the 10:45AM service in Room 200. Join us for more information.
Food preparers and servers are needed on Thursday nights to prepare snack supper for Celebrate Recovery. Van Drivers are also needed. Please contact Ray Keeton at 336-972-6659 if you are interested.
Pinedale Women's Ministry will be having an outreach event on April 11th. We will be supporting Solus Christus, a ministry dedicated to improving the lives of women suffering from alcoholism and/or drug addiction. The Women's Ministry will be providing a meal at the farm, followed by a time of worship and bonfire with the women in the program. We will meet at the church at 5:00PM. Please RSVP by April 7th by emailing [email protected].
Help us fill our boxes! Pinedale is committed to collect 180 boxed dinners each month for Crisis Control Ministries. Place your donations in one of the decorated boxes throughout the church.
The Singles Group will be holding a Yard Sale on April 25th. All proceeds will be donated to the Building Fund. Can you help by donating items to sell? They would love to have household items, collectibles, books, gently used toys, and light furniture. (No clothes, please). Please be sure that all items are in working condition. (For large items, please call Matthew Sink to discuss when/where to drop-off). You must contact the Church Office before dropping items off. Thank you for your contributions!

Our Missions and Student Ministries are partnering with Jenn Lewis to collect “Shoes for Love” for an organization, Dando Amor, that blesses the lives of children around the world. The shoes collected will benefit adults and children in South America and Africa. All shoes, ANY size, ANY kind and ANY wearable condition will be accepted. If you have shoes you would like to donate, please bring to the Family Life Center beginning tomorrow and place in the container provided by May 3rd. Please tie or rubber band the shoes together before placing in the bin.
Please invite your Deaf friends and family members to worship with us during the interpreted 10:45AM SOMA service. The Deaf Ministry area is on the lower level (Baptistry side). Our Deaf Minister, Brad Schaaf, also teaches a Deaf Sunday School class in Room 202 at 9:15AM.
