AAMI HTM Association of the Year Award
AAMI HTM Association of the Year Award 2017 marks the first year that AAMI is awarding the AAMI HTM Association of the Year Award. This honor will go to an HTM Association that distinguishes itself during the course of the year through outstanding society operations and meetings as well as a commitment to elevating the healthcare technology management (HTM) profession at the local level. The prize consists of a plaque to be presented at the 2017 AAMI Annual Conference and Expo in Austin, Texas and a $1,500 check.

Award Criteria Please confirm the nominee’s eligibility by checking the appropriate box and attesting to their eligibility:
Nominees must meet the following criteria:
□ One or more specific association activity(ies) that enhanced the HTM field on a local level.
□ Proven commitment to the professional development of the association’s members via activities that provided advanced education, training and networking opportunities.
□ Examples of an association-wide commitment to the field through association officers
and members writing articles for industry publications, participating in AAMI and other industry committees, and speaking at industry events.
Nominees should meet the following criteria:
□ Active Society/Association Membership with AAMI. □ Examples of promoting the profession to the C-Suite, clinicians, and other professionals in the healthcare technology field.
□ A commitment to community service evident by examples of specific community service activities planned and executed by the association.
Nominators are encouraged to submit examples and/or supporting documents that highlight additional activities relevant to this award and to the candidate society’s achievements.
