"The pit pillow is definitely a favorite among gymnasts and coaches here at Achievers. The extreme softness of this mat makes it great for eliminating the fear of falling in all levels of the sport. This mat is also used frequently in the Ninja and Parkour programs offered here at Achievers. Having 4 pit pillows ensures that all our groups & levels can take advantage of using this awesome mat without having to share!" -Coach Michael

Coach of the Month Name: Marcella Lovegrove Position: Girls USAG Team How long at Achievers: 8 years (in July) What is your favorite thing about coaching :
“I love that this sport isn't simp-
ly just about gymnastics. It takes grit to be great and I love the patience you learn along the way. Especially in a society that seems to love instant gratification. This is the perfect atmosphere for so many different kiddos. I also love the kids that can’t stop fighting for a skill and making their dreams a reality at Achievers. They hold a special place in my heart .”
Experience: Marcella has been coaching for 11 years. She was a TWU gymnast from 2008-2012 and was the M.I.C. Vault champion. Prior to TWU, she was a Richardson Gymnastics gymnast for over 10 years. During her time there, she earned All-American status and was the State High School uneven bar high score record holder.

Routines – The children will be working on putting skills together in a routine on all the events during their classes. You will see many different variations of routines based upon the skill levels of the children. Because we want your child to do well, he/she may even want to practice his/her routines at home.
