Acts 10 10::23 23--36 On the next day Peter went away with them, and some brethren from Joppa accompanied him him.. 24And the following day they entered Caesarea Caesarea.. Now Cornelius was waiting for them, and had called together his relatives and close friends friends.. 25As Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him him.. 26But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Stand up up;; I 27 myself am also a man man..” And as he talked with him, he went in and found many who had come together together.. 28Then he said to them, “You know how unlawful it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go to one of another nation nation.. But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean unclean.. 29Therefore I came without objection as soon as I was sent for for.. I ask, then, for what reason have you sent for me?”
Cornelius said, “Four days ago I was fasting until this hour hour;; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, 31and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God God.. 32Send therefore to Joppa and call Simon here, whose surname is Peter Peter.. He is lodging in the house of Simon, a tanner, by the sea sea.. When he comes, he will speak to you you..’ 33So I sent to you immediately, and you have done well to come come.. Now therefore, we are all present before God, to hear all the things commanded you by God God..” 34Then Peter opened his mouth and said:: “In truth I perceive that God shows no partiality said partiality.. 35But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him Him.. 36The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ – He is Lord of all 30So

1. We should always walk prudently Acts 10 10::23 On the next day Peter went away with them, and some brethren from Joppa accompanied him him.. (Acts 11 11::12 12)) Prov 8:12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence prudence,, and find out knowledge and discretion. discretion. 14::15 … the prudent considers well his steps 14 steps.. 22::3 A prudent man foresees evil and hides himself 22 Mt 18 18::16 ‘by the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established established..’
2. We should never walk pridefully Acts 10 10::25 25--26 As Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him and fell down at his feet and worshiped him him.. 26But Peter lifted him up, saying, “Stand up up;; I myself am also a man man..” (Rev 19 19::10 10,, 22 22::8-9) Prov 8:13 Pride and arrogance and the evil way and the perverse mouth I hate hate.. 29:23 A man’s pride will bring him low 29: low,, but the humble in spirit will retain honor honor..

16:5 Everyone proud in heart is an abomination to the 16: Lord;; Lord Ps 101 101::5 The one who has a haughty look and a proud heart,, him I will not endure heart endure.. 1 Pet 5:5 “God resists the proud proud,, but gives grace to the humble..” humble
3. If God says it – that settles it! it! Acts 10 10::28 28--29 Then he said to them, “You know how unlawful it is for a Jewish man to keep company with or go to one of another nation nation.. But God has shown me that I should not call any man common or unclean unclean.. 29Therefore I came without objection as soon as I was sent for for.. I ask, then, for what reason have you sent for me?”
Jn 17 17::17 Your word is truth truth.. Mt 5:18 For assuredly, I say to you, till heaven and earth pass away, one jot or one tittle will by no means pass from the law till all is fulfilled fulfilled..

Is 55 55::11 So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth;; it shall not return to Me void mouth void,, but it shall accomplish what I please please,, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent itit.. 66:2 “But on this one will I look 66: look:: on him who is poor and of a contrite spirit spirit,, and who trembles at My word word..

Religious sincerity does not save Acts 10 10::30 30--33 So Cornelius said, “Four days ago I was fasting until this hour hour;; and at the ninth hour I prayed in my house, and behold, a man stood before me in bright clothing, 31and said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard, and your alms are remembered in the sight of God God.. 32Send therefore to Joppa and call Simon here, whose surname is Peter Peter.. Mt 7:21 21--23 “Not everyone who says to Me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ shall enter the kingdom of heaven, but he who does the will of My Father in heaven heaven.. 22Many will say to Me in that day, ‘Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in Your name, cast out demons in Your name, and done many wonders in Your name?’ 23And then I will declare to them, ‘I never knew you you;; depart from Me, you who practice lawlessness!’ Eph 2:8-9 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves yourselves;; it is the gift of God, 9not of works, lest anyone should boast boast..
5. But, sincere seeking does Acts 10 10::35 But in every nation whoever fears Him and works righteousness is accepted by Him Him..
Mt 7:7-8 “Ask, and it will be given to you you;; seek, and you will find find;; knock, and it will be opened to you you.. 8For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened opened.. Heb 11 11::6 for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.. Him

Rom 2:11 For there is no partiality with God God.. Eph 6:9 And you, masters, do the same things to them, giving up threatening, knowing that your own Master also is in heaven, and there is no partiality with Him Him..
Col 3:25 But he who does wrong will be repaid for what he has done, and there is no partiality partiality.. 1 Pet 1:17 And if you call on the Father, who without partiality judges according to each one’s work, conduct yourselves throughout the time of your stay here in fear fear;;

Eph 2:14 For He Himself is our peace, who has made both one, and has broken down the middle wall of separation, Heb 10 10::20 by a new and living way which He consecrated for us, through the veil, that is, His flesh, 2 Cor 3:14 14--16 But their minds were blinded blinded.. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ Christ.. 15But even to this day, when Moses is read, a veil lies on their heart heart.. 16Nevertheless when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away away..
