ADDING STUDENTS (EDUCATOR)
Use these instructions if you have just a few students. If you want to add a group of 20+ students, consider creating a class.
Log in to your account at khanacademy.org. Once logged in, click COACH at the top left and then “Manage Students.”
Click “All students”
On the upper right, look for the green button “Add new students.” This will open a box like the one on the next page

Email
Type (or copy and paste) your students’ email addresses in the box to invite them to your class
Students who already have a KA account will be invited to join your class. Students who don’t will receive an email inviting them to create one.

An existing KA account
Type (or copy and paste) your students’ email addresses or usernames* in the box to invite them to your class
Once students have accepted your invitation, you’ll be able to see their data.

Neither
Click CREATE ACCOUNTS

For each student, you’ll need a birthdate.
For students under13, you’ll need a parent email address.
Record your students’ login information. After creating accounts for your students, you cannot change their passwords.**
ADDITIONAL NOTES ON ADDING STUDENTS
*Students can find their username by opening the menu at the top right of the screen.
This student’s username is IsaacAtKA.
**If a student is under 13, only their parent can change their password.
If a student is 13 or over, only the student him/herself can change the password.
HAVING STUDENT LOG IN TO KHAN ACADEMY
If you added students who didn’t have Khan Academy accounts already by entering their email addresses, they’ll need to check their email to complete the account creation process.
If not, students can go www.khanacademy.org and log in immediately using their username and password.
ONE WAY FOR STUDENTS TO ADD THEMSELVES TO YOUR ROSTER
Give students you coach ID.
Ask them to create their own accounts and add you as a coach using this ID.
