Addison Maruszak Addison has been training our Keystone LL players since the Fall 2012 season. Addison is a Utility man on the New York Yankees AAA team and participated in the 2013 Arizona Fall League for MLB’s Top Prospects. He attended college at the University of South Florida for three years on a baseball scholarship, before getting drafted in June 2008 by the Yankees. His freshmen year he was named Freshmen All-American and was the Big East Conference Rookie of The Year. Maruszak was a career .300 hitter in college, and hit a career high .364 his junior season before being drafted by the Yankees. His first season for the Yankees he compiled a .313 batting average in the regular season, and a .625 batting average in the playoffs. Maruszak was chosen by coach selection as a New York Penn League All-Star, as well as receiving the most fan votes. He was then placed in the Top 50 Prospects in the Yankees minor league system by Pinstripes Plus. For the past 6 years of his life, Addison has been fortunate enough to learn from some of the best. He has gotten to know many current big league players and future and current Hall of Famers. In 2012 he was named as the Organization MVP at Short Stop. All of the advice and training he has received from these people has made him a successful baseball player. He is now looking to share what he has learned with young up-in-coming baseball players.
