Tenancy Application Guide Assisting prospect Tenants to achieve:  Having application processed and replied to more quickly  Being selected by the Property Owner Helpful hints:  Ensure all details of the application are completed correctly  Attach references and allied documents to the application for all Tenants noted on application.  A copy of Personal profiles of each Tenant (if available) attached to application can be an advantage  Notify referees and employers of your application and ensure their availability for phone contact if required. NB: Daytime phone numbers are essential  Attach a photocopy of ID (Drivers licence preferred) to application of all Tenants noted on application (If on a WINZ benefit a copy of each Community Services card is also required)  If application includes provision for pets, vet history and photos of pets is helpful.  All Tenants noted on application must sign the application.  Email to [email protected] or deliver to Ray White Taupo Office, 24 Spa Road, Taupo as soon as you have completed application.

Requests information- this application form asks you to provide personal information and 2. Purpose of collection - the information collected on this form is required so that the landlord is better able to assess whether you would be the best applicant on merit for the tenancy and to record limited information contained in the application form on a web-based database. The limited information concerns your identity and your last known address. This information is required to assist the landlord in locating you to enforce any unsatisfied money order made by the Tenancy Tribunal. 3. Recipient of information - the information is provided by you to the Owner/Landlord/Agent/ Property Manager. 4. Sight information - I/we advise you that you have the right to see the information I/we hold about you. 5. Correct information - to correct that information if it is incorrect in accordance with the Privacy Act1993. 6. I/we acknowledge that: 1. Upon notification of this application being successful I/we will be available for an appointment ( up to 45minutes) at the Ray White Taupo office, 24 Spa Road, Taupo, or by email in approved circumstances, to complete the Tenancy Agreement process, this formally confirming the application being successful. 2. A payment equivalent to, a minimum of 1 week’s rent, 4 week’s rent for bond and 1 week’s rent plus GST for letting fee will need to be paid, (preferably at the time of signing the Tenancy Agreement) to ensure the smooth commencement of the Tenancy, NB: An additional part rent payment may be required to ensure your rent is always paid in advance, and preventing you from falling into arrears. 3. The keys cannot be handed over for the commencement of the Tenancy until the payment above is paid in full, and the funds are cleared, a minimum of 5 days prior to Tenancy commencement date. 4. As tenants I/we agree to notify Realty List & Sell Ltd T/A Ray White Taupo immediately of any damages caused by my/our animals and upon approval by Ray White Taupo to rectify and pay in full for such damages immediately. 2. If problems occur or complaints are received, then if after one warning is sent to the tenant at the above address, the animal is still causing unnecessary concern to the complainants, Ray White Taupo may have no choice but to advise the necessary agencies who may have to remove the animal at the animals owner’s expense. 3. All dogs must be: * Kept in the grounds of the property and must not be allowed inside the dwelling unless special permission is granted by Ray White Taupo * Restrained when a Ray White representative or person authorised by Ray White Taupo advises they will be calling, and acknowledge that I/we may be incur costs if this is not adhered to. * Currently registered and the owner must provide proof of registration to Ray White Taupo when requested; * Fenced off to enable at least one external door to the property to be accessed at all times. 4. As tenants I/we agree to Ray White Taupo providing the information on this form to the SPCA /Local Authority. Should the animal be considered to be in an unfit or distressed condition I/we authorise Ray White Taupo to have the animal removed at my/our expense. 5
