Remember, missing work from unexcused absences cannot be made up! Behavioral Expectations: All students are expected to read and abide by the Student Code of Conduct as described in the Student Handbook. Remember the 4 Beaver Basics: Be Responsible: Come to class on time, use proper safety procedures in the lab, clean up after yourself, keep track of assignments. Come Prepared: Bring your materials to class, come ready to learn and participate, put forth an honest effort every day. Have Good Character: Exhibit appropriate behavior at all times, even when no one is watching. Help others clean up, even if it’s not your mess. Show Respect: Show respect for others, as well as yourself. Respect school and others’ personal property. Respect the values, opinions, and beliefs of others.
Should students fail to meet the behavioral expectations; the following consequences will be enforced: First Infraction: Verbal warning Second Infraction: You will be assigned detention, parents will be contacted Third Infraction: Referred to administration for multiple rules violations Most importantly, agricultural education classes should be fun! If you show up, do your work, and put forth an honest effort, you will succeed and gain valuable knowledge and experience from your time in agricultural education. Remember that according to school policy, if you are sent to the office for a discipline referral, you will receive a zero score for that day, so make the most of each day and exhibit appropriate behavior!
