Aikin Elementary principals 'stuck'

Aikin Elementary principals ‘stuck’ on reading Aikin Elementary School students recently celebrated the joy of reading through two weeks of activities called Read Across Aikin. 4,476 books were read during this time. The three teams that read the most books participated in the "Stuck on Reading" event and "stuck" the principals to the wall in the main hallway.
Sharon Yerby's Kindergarten class taped Principal Pat Gilbert to the wall leaving her stuck on reading.
Assistant Principal Kim Donnan is stuck to the wall by Amanda Ritchey's first grade class.
