MUSTANG 2012 Expand your options in small spaces with the all-new 2012 skid steer from Mustang. With a machine width as narrow as 3-feet with 5.70 x 12 tires, the 2012 can maneuver easily in small spaces. Powered by a 24 hp Yanmar diesel engine, this original workhorse brings loader performance to places most machines can't enter!
• Compact Size - With a machine width as narrow as 3-feet with optional tires, a height of 6¼-feet and a length of 8⅓-feet, this unit is made for maneuvering in tight areas where other machines can't gain access. • Solid Performance - Powered by a 24 hp Yanmar diesel engine, the 2012 packs a load capacity of 850 lbs. for great performance in a small package. • Lift Arm – High-strength, low-profile design maximizes operator visibility and performance. • Full-Sized Comfort - An operator-friendly ROPS/FOPS Level II-certified cab keeps the operator comfortable all day long. A high-back, deluxe seat comes standard. (high-back suspension seat available) • Easy Maintenance - A tiltable ROPS/FOPS allows for easy access to service and maintenance points. • Lightweight Transport - Machine shipping weight less than 2,900 lbs. makes for easy shipping and hauling.
MACHINE TRAITS • A machine width as narrow as 36" with 5.70 x 12 chevron tire set, and 42" with 8.50 x 12 HD flotation tire set. • A lift height of 96" makes loading and material handling in small spaces easy. • Foot throttle increases engine speed for more power and speed when needed; decreases engine speed for quieter, more fuel-efficient operation. • Bow-tie chain drive system sits in a continuous oil bath in a sealed case that never needs adjustments, reducing service costs. • Drive motors utilize SAHR (spring-applied, hydraulic-release) brakes as standard equipment and activated by the Hydraloc® system or a switch in the instrument panel.
OPERATOR'S CAB • Safety-glass side windows for added operator protection and lower sound levels. • Unique restraint bar system, tied into the Hydraloc® safety system, provides added safety and is adjustable for operator comfort. • Upper, side corner instrumentation provides easy-to-read dials and gauges to monitor engine functions.
