More than 1 out of every 3 Puyallup school kids depends on free or reduced-cost lunches during the school year.
During the summer break, activity at the All Saints Delivery Food Bank increases by 25% while we help feed the kids who have to go without subsidized school lunches. Help us to feed children in need within our community! Please take a brown grocery bag after all Masses next weekend, May 28/29, and fill it with non-perishable food items. Bring your full bag back to Mass on June 4/5 and help fill up the food bank! Not sure what to buy? See the grocery list on the back of this sheet or stapled to the grocery bags. Financial donations are also appreciated. Questions? Call Aleah at (253) 845-7521 or send an email to

FACT: 1 in 5 American children live in households that struggle to put food on the table.* Our obligation as Christians is to respond to social problems with “Two Feet of Love in Action” (Pope Benedict, Deus Caritas Est). “Catholic disciples on mission are called to put Two Feet of Love in Action! This foundational tool describes two distinct, but complementary ways we can put the Gospel in action in response to God's love: social justice (addressing systemic, root causes of problems that affect many people) and charitable works (short-term, emergency assistance for individuals).” - USCCB To voice your support for our brothers and sisters in need, please visit The Washington State Catholic Conference website at www.thewscc.org and click on “Take Action” to send an email to our U.S. Senator Patty Murray, Senator Maria Cantwell, and Representative Denny Heck in support of the Child Nutrition Reauthorization Act. The act: Improves access and flexibility for child
nutrition and school-based meal programs to respond to local needs; Invests in resources and protect from
harmful cuts and changes, the hunger and nutrition programs that feed hungry children, and expectant and breastfeeding mothers; Protects recent gains made in eligibility and
certification so that more children get the food they need for their healthy development. Learn more about the Child Nutrition Reauthorization Act at www.thewscc.org. Thank you for giving and advocating generously to improve the lives of children in our community and across the United States. *US Department of Agriculture
