Alumnae Sisters, My name is Morgan Gilmour and I am the 2017 Vice President of Alumnae Relations for Theta Eta. I am so excited to have this position and most importantly get to know all of you. The encouragement I received from my sisters empowered me to step up and be the leader they believe I can be. Sigma Kappa is one of the greatest things I have ever pursued and I cannot wait to get the most out of it. Theta Eta 2017 Goals -Obtain an overall GPA above the UNLV sorority average. - Win or place in other Greek philanthropy events. - Recognize more members in Standards living our values rather than unsisterly conduct. -Lower the amount of withdrawals by focusing on quality programming. - Increase the amount of fundraising for the Sigma Kappa Foundation. - Be recognized as a Standard of Excellence Two Star Chapter
Theta Eta’s Vision Statement for 2017 “To cultivate respectable, confident and proactive women by igniting their passion to live by the values of Sigma Kappa.”
Hello Beautiful Alumnae, UNLV Panhellenic Council has set chapter total to be 89 members for all of the sororities on campus. Theta Eta currently has 90 active members, which means we will not be participating in this year’s Spring Recruitment. This is a wonderful turn of events as the focus will be directed to educate and enhance the recruitment skills of our newest members. Overall our sisters will be well prepared to insure that we get the greatest women in Fall Primary Recruitment! If you know of anyone who is interested in going Greek make sure to fill out a Recruitment Introduction Form and advise them to wait until next semester to go through recruitment. Networking & Career Fair Sunday, April 23rd UNLV Student Union 4pm-6pm During this informal meeting we are asking alumnae, family and friends to come and discuss with our sisters about what happens after graduation, tips and tricks for the real world and how they used their degree.
