The American Flag Subscription Program is an effort to foster community pride and serves as a major fundraiser of the Kiwanis of Nashville Foundation to support local projects to improve the community and especially children. A 3x5 foot flag on a 10 foot pole will be placed in your lawn before the holiday weekend and retrieved after the holiday. VETERAN’S DAY
How it works: Residents submit their application and payment. Please include any special notes, such as whether you have a sprinkler system. Before the next holiday, we call to verify locations for base installation. After we receive the okay, a team will come to install the 8” PVC base in your yard. A red cap will be put on the end. Your mower will not hit the pipe or cap! A couple of days prior to each holiday, the flags are placed in yards. Depending on weather, dry flags are retrieved and stored properly.
