In honor of the Feast Day of St. Blaise, a blessing of the throats will be offered after all Masses next weekend. Our next Teen Mass is January 26th at 5:00pm. All are welcome! Please note that we will follow the Glastonbury School System’s decisions on winter weather. If the school system has a delayed opening or a snow day cancellation, then there will NOT be a morning Mass at Saint Dunstan.

5th  Grade  Recognition  Mass  reception All  parishioners  are  invited  to  enjoy  coffee  and  baked   goods  in  the  hall  after  the  9:30am  Mass  on  January   26th. Birthright   Baby   Bottle   Fundraiser   Baby   bottles   will   be   distributed   after   all   Masses  on  the  weekend  of  Feb.  1  /  2.  We  ask   that  you  take  a  bottle  home,  fill  it  with  coins,   cash,   or   a   check   and   return   it   during   any   Mass   on   the   weekend   of   Feb.   22/23.   This   is   an  opportunity  to  have  involvement  in  a  project  that  saves   the  lives  of  unborn  children  and  makes  a  lasting  difference   in  the  mothers’  lives.    Thank  you  for  any  help  you  can  give!     If   you   have   any   questions,   please   contact   Ben   Robinson   at   860-­‐657-­‐3168.

“NEW DAY” PROGRAM Our parish will be offering “New Day,” a nine-week program for those who have lost a loved one in death. It will be a time to come together to pray, to understand the grieving process, and to experience the support of a caring community. The date, day and time of the program will depend on the responses we receive. Corpus  Christi  Open  House  

Corpus  Christi  School  of  Wethersfield,  which  was  recently  named   a  2012  Blue  Ribbon  School  of  Excellence  by  the  US  Department  of   th Education,  will  host  and  open  house  on  Tuesday,  January  28  at   8:30  am  at  the  school,  581  Silas  Dean  Highway.    Parent  and   children  are  invited  to  visit  while  classes  are  in  session.    The   th school  encompasses  PreK  through  8  grade.    For  more   information,  please  contact  our  school  office  at  (860)  529-­‐5487.

Catholic Graduates Club of Greater Hartford will award three scholarships of $1,000 each to Catholic students who are high school seniors and who plan to attend a four-year college in the fall of 2014. The applicant must reside in Hartford County. Our club has awarded over $94,000 to 149 scholarship recipients over the past 62 years. Students are chose on the basis of financial need, scholarship, character, leadership and achievement. Information can be obtained by contacting guidance counselors or principals in area high schools, or at www.catholicgraduatesct.org. Deadline for submission of scholarship applications is March 15, 2014.
