Appalachian Service Project
2018 DECEMBER NEWS Soup sale #1 is in the books. We had a record-breaking sale with soup to spare. Thank you to Sue Gulley for leading the charge and to all that helped! Your generous donations fed our church, BVFD & St. Malachi. In January we will be selling soup, subs and chili on Sunday, Jan 7 so our friends can stock up for the National College Football Championship game on Jan. 8. Study session #1 is on January 28. We strongly encourage you to attend. Katherine Kerka, an ASP Coordinator and former BUMC Youth Group member will be joining us to give us the scoop about working for ASP and will offer reflections about earlier ASP experiences. We will introduce this year’s theme, give an overview of ASP, teambuild, have lunch & enjoy each others company. Have a very Merry Christmas. Take time to reflect on your blessings...a warm house, food on the table, a family & community and the love they offer. And most importantly, celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ, our savior who makes all possible. You are all a blessing to us and to so many.
