April 2017 Meeting Minutes

April 2017 Meeting Minutes- April 7th, 2017 6:30- Meeting called to order. In attendance- Rit Gay, Chad Zima, Mike Moylan, Joe Pirruccio, Tom Kenney, John Gionfriddo, Rod Pelletier, Marissa Kontoulis, Melissa Pelletier, Pete Bennett, Mel Bennett, Jessica Burdacki. 6:35- Motion to accept meeting minutes from March- Motion / Mike Moylan, 2nd Chad Zima. 6:40- Financial report presented my Mike Moylan. 6:45- Melissa Pelletier- Picture Day will take place on opening day, rain or shine. 7:00- Joe Pirruccio states that rain has caused a problem and stalled the city from doing field work (sod), may have to push start of season out. Discussion about getting Suzio to donate stone dust. Suzio is willing to donate the product but EW would be responsible for cost of delivery OR we could pick up product free of charge. Dick’s Sporting Goods donating $350 gift card to EW. City of Meriden donating $2,000 to EW. 7:35-Mike proposed new kitchen cooking equipment. Cost would be approximately $2,600 and getting a price on frialator too. Motion to accept / Mike Moylan, 2nd / Chad Zima. 7:40- Chad motion to have John Gionfriddo to do field clean up for a reasonable cost, Rit / 2nd. EW will be responsible for labor and gas. 7:45- Pete states that Coginchaug would be interested in league play for Farm A and B. Wanted to mention it so people can think about it down the road as a possibility. 8:00- Meeting adjourned.
