Vacation Bible School (VBS) This year’s VBS will be held June 22-26 from 9am - 12pm. Registration is now open online for ages 4 years to children entering 5th grade in the fall. Cost is $10 per child and $5 per cd (optional).

Families can sign in their children before service in the south hallway. - Nursery (infant – 2 yrs) Rm 139 - Jammers (2 - 3 yrs) Rm 137 - Children & Worship (4 yrs – K) Rm 100 - Kids and Worship (1st – 2nd) Rm 101 - Extreme Praise (3rd – 5th) Rm 205* *dismissed during worship
As is our practice, families are encouraged to gather after worship in the gym. Snacks, juice and a bunch of playground balls for kids will be after the chairs get picked up.

Women’s Book Club The Woman’s Book Club will meet on Tuesday, April 28 at 7 pm to discuss “The Soldier’s Wife” by Margaret Leroy. Contact Laurel Bartels for more info at [email protected].
VBS Volunteers Needed Volunteers are needed to help with VBS from set up to take down and everything in between. For more info contact Lisa Applegate at [email protected].
Mulch Next Friday, May 1st, Chicago Christian High School students will help beautify our campus by putting down mulch in our flower beds. Contact Pete Bolt for more info at 708-558-1880.
VBS Donations We are collecting gift cards to Home Depot and check donations (VBS Decorations in the memo line) to buy materials for VBS. For more info contact Lisa Applegate at [email protected].
Adult Mission Trip Men and women 18 years and older are welcome to join a team traveling to and serving in Brookport, IL from June 14-19. Fliers are on the info table with details of the trip and contact info.
Pie Auction Last Sunday’s pie auction was a great success! A total of $8,222.82 was generously donated for the youth’s mission trip this summer. Thank you!
Men’s Night Coming this summer - Christ Community Guys Nights Out! The first event is a White Sox game on July 18. Take in a game, invite some friends and enjoy it all with guys from Christ Community. Tickets are $25 per person and you must reserve your ticket. Sign up in the lobby or email Kevin Pittman Jr. at [email protected].
Update on Worship Leaders Search After two months of searching for a Director of Worship & Arts, the hunt continues. We are now considering applicants for a full-time staff position. We ask for your prayers and patience as we continue to interview applicants.
Prayer We pray for our global mission partners: JP and Katy Sundararajan in India Mark and Deb Wilson in Cambodia Wendy Ludovici Twycross in Nairobi, Kenya Al and Sue Schreuder in Chiapas, Mexico Shelvis and Nancy Smith-Mather in South Sudan We continue to pray for those battling long-term illnesses and disease; Karen Decker, Chris Kiemel, Jack Kraai, Bob Macauley, Derek Ooms, Patty Stumpf, Howard Vander Meer, Angela Westerman.
