INTRODUCTION This guide will teach you how to remove and replace the camera on the Archos 70b device. It will guide you through opening the device, removing the camera from the motherboard, and then do the steps backwards to replace it.

TOOLS: Tweezers (1) Spudger (1) T4 Torx Screwdriver (1)

Step 1 — Back plate 

Remove all the tape and plugs to access the screws beneath.



Unscrew all 5 of the .3mm t4 screws from the back plate of the device.

Gently go around the outside of the back plate and pry the back cover off.



Locate the camera on the motherboard.

Remove the plastic cover from the camera.



Removal of the plastic cover makes disassembly easier.

Step 6



Using tweezers remove the camera by the pins from the motherboard.
