Chargers of the Year The Charger of the Year Award is the highest award we can give to a student-athlete. The recipients of this award have not only displayed outstanding athletic performance in their sport, but have embraced the ideals of the Arete Prep culture and community. They have displayed a great attitude and put forth tremendous effort on the field of play, and have exemplified extraordinary character toward their community and academic life. The award recipients were first nominated by their coaches and then the athletes' character, attendance, attitude and academic performance were examined. This rigorous selection process is what makes this award so unique and very special. Our 2015-2016 Chargers of the Year are: MS Boy:

Ty Mellor

MS Girl:

Chloe Stoops

HS Boy:

Garrison Mueller

HS Girls: Jamie Young and Crystal Akpede
