SONANCE ARCHITECTURAL SERIES® UNIVERSAL BRACKET
Features: Available in three sizes (small, medium, and large) and three shapes (rectangle, round, and square). For use in standard drywall applications, non-standard drywall applications such as plaster and finishes exceeding 5/8” in thickness, and cement-based substrates. Installs Architectural Series finish components completely flush to the wall or ceiling surface.
ARCHITECTURAL SERIES UNIVERSAL BRACKET SONANCE ARCHITECTURAL SERIES® UNIVERSAL BRACKET The Universal Bracket is designed to install Sonance Architectural Series speakers in both new and existing construction for standard drywall applications, non-standard drywall applications such as plaster and finishes exceeding 5/8” in thickness, and cement-based substrates. The Universal Bracket is available in three sizes: small, medium and large (roughly equivalent to 4”, 6”, and 8” speaker sizes), and three different shapes: round and square, for use in ceilings, and rectangle*, for use in walls. Adjustable Stud-Mount Rails are available separately for installations in new stud/drywall construction. During mounting, the Universal Bracket’s position can be be adjusted laterally for exact positioning in the stud/joist bay, and square and rectangle Universal Bracket models can be rotated slightly to true their alignment with other components and fixtures on the wall or ceiling. After mounting, the Universal Bracket’s height can be adjusted to bring the mud dam proud of the mounting surface, allowing the Architectural Series finish component to be installed completely flush with almost any final finish. * Universal Brackets are not available for Architectural Series Large Rectangle speakers.

STUD-MOUNT RAILS Allow installation of the Universal Bracket between studs or joists that are spaced 12” to 24” on-center. Once installed, the Universal Bracket adjusts to accommodate different wall and ceiling material thicknesses from 1/32” (0.8mm) to 1½” (38mm), in 2mm increments.
