Aspire | Commit | Succeed 14th December 2017 RE: Year 10 Exams weeks, Wednesday 3rd January-Wednesday 17th January 2018 Dear Parent / Carer, Your child will have exams in all subjects across the curriculum immediately on return from the Christmas holidays. This means that the first exams will begin on Wednesday 3rd January 2018 and will continue until Wednesday 17th January. In order to support them with preparation for the exams, we have made resources available on the VIP zone for year 10 which includes revision lists and top tips for successful revision and performance in exams. Your child will also have a list of all the online learning resources available. Your child will already have the usernames and passwords required to access these platforms. If your child has misplaced their login details or has any difficulty accessing the online learning resources, please let us know. A copy of the exam timetable will be published on our website. We will use the outcomes from your child’s performance to inform our in-class interventions. There will be a Parents’ Evening on Thursday 1st February where you will have an opportunity to discuss your child’s performance in the exams and the progress they are making in all subjects. Please ensure that your child visits the Year 10 VIP zone and uses the information there to help them revise and be fully prepared for the exams.
