FOR RECORDING FEES
In an effort to assist with the challenges faced by the lending community in completing the new GFE, Advantage Title, Inc. has adopted a AVERAGE RECORDING FEE RATE in the counties of Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, San Diego and Ventura, as follows:
Refinance Average Recording Fee: $93.00 Resale with Financing Average Recording Fee $89.00 The fees above are applicable for the time period of February 1, 2010 through April 30, 2010. Documentary Transfer Tax and PCOR penalties are separate charges and are not included in the average fees. Recording fees for residential cash and commercial transactions will be charged based on the actual fees as determined by each county’s recorder. The above average recording fees have been determined from a study of actual recording fees as assessed by the recorder’s offices of each of the counties listed above, by transaction type, for a SIX (6) month period through 12/31/2009. In addition a $6.00 per document increase has been factored into the average recording fees as prescribed by SB676, Chapter 606.
