(Must be at least 15 years old to participate) Is your teenager interested in marine science and working with younger children? This program is designed to give them a summer long experience where they discover both areas! Our CIT program will afford your child the chance to participate in our camp while assisting counselors in working with younger campers as they do marine related crafts, lessons, activities, games, seining, and work with live marine life! CITs will also help counselors prepare activities/ games, learn how to supervise younger campers, be involved in lesson planning, and help in the "behind the scenes" of daily activities during camp operation (including animal care/feeding and tank maintenance). Participation hours in this program can count towards community service hours for programs such as National Honor Society, graduation requirements, etc. Please contact Marie Cancro for information on becoming a CIT participant.
