The Rosette - This is the place to create flow, direction and color for your quilt. When creating a Rosette I almost always start with the first round, add the second round and place the center in last. For this rosette I drew out a plan of where I wanted curves to appear and how I wanted the stripes to make a statement and chose my fabrics accordingly. Using the instructions in The New Hexagon and the guidelines piece the rosette to make it your own.
