AUGGIE CROSS COUNTRY It is truly a unique experience to be a collegiate student-athlete. The Augsburg College Cross Country program is designed to provide you with the best collegiate athletics experience possible. Augsburg offers a first-class education while participating in MIAC and NCAA athletics. The Cross Country teams are at the top of all Augsburg teams academically, and consistently earn national All-Academic Team recognition. Being part of the Augsburg team will help strengthen your sense of commitment, team-building skills, and leadership qualities. You will also develop the ability to overcome challenges, set and achieve meaningful goals, and establish lifelong relationships. Augsburg College recognizes and appreciates the accomplishments of the Cross Country team and provides great support for the program, including supplying each team member with training shoes and funding trips to competitions in locations such as New York and Boston. Augsburg is a great place to be a student, but it’s an even greater place to be a student-athlete!

You’ll run side-by-side with passionate and experienced elite runners, hear from knowledgeable guest speakers, work as a team to tackle leadership challenges with the US Marine Corps, and even go out and do some good for the Minneapolis community.
