WEEKLY MEETINGS Adult Sunday School | Sundays in August | 9:30 AM | Sunday mornings at the City Center | Rev. Batzig and Travis Peacock will begin leading a series on 20th Century Church History from Dr. Robert Godfrey, President of Westminster Seminary in California. New Members Class | Sundays in August | 9:30 AM | Sunday mornings at the City Center | The session will be teaching a 10 week course for anyone seeking membership at New Covenant. Please contact the church office if you would like to participate at [email protected] Children’s and Youth Sunday School | Sundays in August | 9:30 AM | Sunday mornings at the City Center | The children and youth of New Covenant will meet in their respective classes. Parents are encouraged to pick up their children from their classrooms immediately following Sunday school. Men’s Breakfast and Book Study | August 16, 23, 30 | 6:00 AM| The men will begin meeting at the Omelet Café in Richmond Hill to study “Let’s Study John” by Mark Johnston. For more information and to join this study please contact Bobby Wise at [email protected].
SPECIAL EVENTS High Gravity Theology Night | August 12 and 28 | 6:00 pm | Each second Friday and last Sunday of the month Rev. Batzig will begin working through Geerhardus Vos’ Reformed Dogmatics with attendees. Copies of each section covered will be given out; however, we encourage those who attend to purchase a hardback version of the four volume set. Youth Group Bible Study | August 24 | 6:30 PM | At the church office | The youth group will meet for their Bible Study on Ephesians. For more information or if you would like to join the youth group please email David Prussia at [email protected]. Magnolia Manor | August 31 | 6:30 PM | We will meet at the Magnolia Manor Assisted Living Home for a potluck dinner and Bible Study Fellowship | Dinner theme is TBA. Monthly Visitors’ Lunch | August 28 | 12:00 PM | At the City Center immediately following the morning worship service | Lunch will be provided.
CONGRATULATIONS Congratulations to Brad and Mary Pat Byrd on the birth of their son, Charles "Charlie" Gerald Byrd, on June 14th weighing 8 pounds, 6 ounces and measuring 20.5 inches long.
