Chris Norris Western Regional Manager Wolf Robotics presenting on
Robotic Welding in the General Industry Chris Norris is the Western regional manager for Wolf Robotics, a robotic automation company with a strength in automating larger fabrications. He has been in the automation industry for over 20 years. Chris attended Colorado State University where he received his Mechanical Engineering degree. His professional career began as an applications engineer with ABB Robotics. Later he took on a managing role in the department. When he started at Wolf Robotics, he managed the marketing and purchasing departments. He took on the regional manager responsibility in mid 2009, where he is able to interact directly with customers and solve their automation challenges.

Dinner is $20 for students, $40 for regular members (If you do not plan to have dinner you are still welcome to attend the program)
A Colorado native, Chris now lives in Fort Collins, Colorado with his wife and daughter.

Sample Technical Question: With regards to underwater welding, what is the difference between dry hyperbaric welding and wet welding? Students: There are excellent opportunities for learning and networking at our monthly dinner meetings. Meet other students and become acquainted with industry professionals in the Puget Sound area. There are also many scholarships available to students who are studying welding, fabrication, or welding engineering. Information is available on our website: www.awssection.org/pugetsoundolympic/
Bring your technical questions to the meeting (any subject) or write them there and leave at the registration table or hand hand them to Steve Pollard. They will be discussed and hopefully answered during the dinner hour.
