NOTES (*not including Friday’s games) HUSKIES CELEBRATE SENIOR DAY The Huskies will honor their eight seniors before the start of Saturday’s games vs. Mansfield. PSAC TOURNAMENT BRACKET Three teams are locked into the PSAC Tournament – Millersville (18-6), Bloomsburg (17-7) and West Chester (15-9) while East Stroudsburg (13-11), Kutztown (11-13) and Shippensburg (11-13) are all vying for the fourth and final playoff spot. All of the tournament seeds are yet to be determined with the structure of the tournament bracket to be determined over the final series of the divisional slate this weekend. The PSAC Tournament begins Wednesday, April 30 and runs through Saturday, May 3 in Butler, Pa., at Kelly Automotive Park. The bracket is structured in a crossover format with teams from the Eastern Division facing Western Division foes in the first round in a double-elimination system. MILESTONE WEEKEND Bloomsburg entered Friday’s games with 25 victories on the year with six games remaining in the regular season plus playoffs. The Huskies have the opportunity to reach 30 victories for just the third time in school history – the 1995 team won a school-record 37 games on the way to the NCAA Division II World Series while the 1997 squad won exactly 30. One victory in the Mansfield series would also give the Huskies their highest win total since the 1997 season as the 1998, 1999 and 2012 teams all finished with 25 wins. BY THE NUMBERS 2.65: The amount of walks allowed per nine innings by the Huskies pitching staff, a total which ranks second in the PSAC and 24th in the nation. 2.96: The Huskies team ERA, a figure which is second-lowest in the PSAC and also ranks 20th in Division II.
