In today’s highly-‐demanding world, women now more than ever are the primary breadwinners, up by 40% since 1970. According to Pew research Center, the educa-onal level among mothers is higher than ever before. Yet, working mothers are oXen unrecognized in the media and may find it difficult to connect with people who support them. The Working Moms Expo is an opportunity for working mothers as well as women in business to listen to experiences, recognize accomplishments, learn valuable business skills, and create powerful bonds. On October 3rd, working mothers, leaders, local businesses, and celebri-es will gather to share their inspiring stories. The 2015 Working Moms Expo will open with an announcement of the winners of the Ul#mate Super Mom Compe##on, an interna-onal contest designed to honor remarkable women who balance their family lives with strengthening their communi-es. The Expo will also showcase women-‐business-‐owners in its Entrepreneur Zone, a dedicated exhibit space where leading women vendors will showcase their businesses. During the day, a\endees can hone their business skills by going to workshops such as “Leadership & Entrepreneurship Workshop” or the “Business, Family and Health Balance Workshop,” as well as listen to a roster of impressive speakers that includes award-‐winning author and former Miss USA, Terri Bri\. As a key pillar in the GC4W goal of impac-ng the lives of 100,000 women and young girls, the Working Moms Expo promises an opportunity to acquire the cri-cal combina-on of both valuable knowledge as well as an invaluable new network of support that is proving to be so essen-al to success in today’s society.
