warm up (15 mins) Warm up: - players willl work at each station for 45 seconds and then rotate to next station. Each group of (3-4) players should go through each station two times without the ball. Second time through stations should be a relay race. Each player goes through station twice and first teams sitting earn a point. (Teams with most points do the least amount of push ups). Once completed without the ball [after relay races] players will go through each station with the ball. Once they have gone through 1x the second time through should be a race. Please note every player should do a station twice with the ball before relay race with ball. Agility Station (no ball): Players will do high knees over the cones (two feet down between each cone) Agility Station (no ball): Players will zig - zag between poles Agility Station (no ball): Players will high knees side ways over the cones. Players should change directions each time through the cones. Agility Station (no ball): Player will do lateral (two foot power jumps), this is where the players try to jump between poles with a two footed leap/jump to zig zag between poles. smalll sided activity (15 mins) Small sided activity Set up -(space should be pretty big to allow for a lot of success and space to move). Inside area should be random gates (5-6) made with cones so player can dribble through the gates (gates should be pretty good size (3-4 large steps) to allow for success when dribbling through or passing. Description: Players will work with partner (2's), One player with a ball and the other player without. Exercise one: (should be done 2-3 times) player dribbles as fast as they can and pass the ball through cones to teammate. Once teammate has ball they dribble to new gate and pass ball to teammate. The sequence continues for 45 seconds. At the end of the 45 seconds players should tell coach how many they completed. The two groups with the most start next round with a 5 second head start, but must make first pass with left foot during the 5 second head start.(coach should hold players accountable to using left foot) Exercise two: (should be done (2-3 times at 45 seconds each time) Player with the ball dribble through gate, but this time must do pull back (or any change of direction) and pass the ball back through gate to teammate. Once teammate has the ball they should dribble to new gate go through gate do pull back (or any change of direction) and pass the ball back through gate to teammate.

The top four players with the most start next round with a 5 second head start, but must change direction during the 5 second head start.(coach should hold players accountable to changing direction with speed) Exercise two: (should be done (2-3 times at 45 seconds each time) Player with the ball dribble through gate, but this time must do pull back (or any change of direction). Once pullback has been done they should dribble to new gate go through gate do pull back (or any change of direction) again, repeating this until the times is up.
expanded game (25 mins) Expanded game: Players should be broken up into 4 teams of three, two fields should be made side by side so coach can monitor both fields during the session (game play). One player may be left over (neutral). all games should be 5-6 minutes. If ball goes out of bounds should be back in the game no more than (5-6) seconds, coach can monitor this by counting for the field ball went out on (12-3-4-5) if ball still out goal for other team. Players should self regulate their games (scoring and rules) so they are thinking while they play. This should be encouraged. Coach only steps in to help to guide players to work together and play by the rules of the game designed by coach. When coach feels a stoppage is needed step in and coach (shape and support). Description: Play 3 v 3 (no GK). Game one: Score by completing forward pass or scoring in goal. Game two: Score by completing two passes or score in goal Game three: Score by completing three passes or score in goal
