Bay Area Soccer League NEEDS Volunteers!
Registration for the Spring 2014 Rec Soccer Season will be open online starting Saturday, October 19th at our website www.BayAreaSoccerLeague.com
We do not have enough volunteers to support the Spring 2014 operations. Bay Area Soccer League is an all volunteer based organization and we cannot function or manage the soccer league without the help of volunteers.
(Please note: Easy to follow instructions on how to complete registration online are listed on the back side of this page.) th
The Spring season will start April 12 , run for 7 weeks, and end on May 31st. NO Soccer April 19th due to Easter Holiday. Remember, registration fees are affordable with Bay Area Soccer League’s multi-child family discount! For 1 child you pay - $35 Every child registered after the first, receives a $5 discount off their registration fee!
You may issue payment in a number of ways… Online with a credit or debit card when registering By mailing a check or money order to our PO Box In person at our registration day Saturday, March 8th from 9am - 12noon in the Firelands Room of the Frost Center at Osborn Park.
**BASL is Offering an Early Bird Special! From October 19thNovember 19th if you register online you will get an extra $5.00 off your child’s registration fee! Deadline to Register for Spring 2014 Season is March 9th, 2014
We are in need of: New Board Members – Attend our once a month board meetings on the 2nd Sunday of every month Marketing/Advertising help promoting the league Volunteers to assist with registration, scheduling, equipment maintenance, organization of volunteers Assist with social media and website notifications Volunteers to assist in the tent on Saturday mornings during rec sessions providing info to BASL parents Coaches…it is an hour and a half out of your time!
Please consider volunteering your time with BASL, we cannot continue to function without your assistance. If you are interested in learning more about the time and commitment involved, please contact us at 419-975-9390 or email us at [email protected] Remember, without the millions of adults who contribute at least 1 hour a week to volunteering, community sport would grind to a halt! BASL Rec League had over 650 players last Spring season. Over 1000 adults are at the park on a Rec Saturday, please consider volunteering your time. Thank You!
Age Groups by DOB for Spring 2014 U4 Socceroos – August 1, 2009 to July 31, 2010 U6 - August 1, 2007 to July 31st, 2009 U8 - August 1, 2005 to July 31st, 2007 U10 - August 1, 2003 to July 31st, 2005 U12 - August 1, 2001 to July 31st, 2003 U14 Junior High - August 1, 1999 to July 31st, 2001 (U14 practice starts at noon, games at 12:30pm)
BASL Shirt Sale at the White Tent on October 19th It is Fall Cleaning Time! BASL is parting ways with our inventory of BASL Rec League and Chevy Youth Soccer T-shirts. Please stop by the white tent during Saturday Morning Rec Soccer and check out what we have. Youth and Adult sizes available. We are asking for donations!
Important November 10th Board Meeting! Please consider attending our Annual General Meeting on November 10th at 7pm in the Firelands Room of the Frost Center at Osborn Park. Elections will be held at the AGM. This November the Office of President and Secretary terms will be up for election. The Secretary position will be a transitional one, for the first 6 months you will be asked to take minutes at our monthly meeting and then transition into answering BASL emails.
Kalahari Cup Soccer Tournament October 26th & 27th Bay Area Soccer League is the proud host of the Kalahari Cup! This soccer tournament is in its 4th year and is designed for competitive community based travel teams and lower level premier teams for both boys and girls ages U9 to U14. We would like to invite all rec league parents and players to come out to Osborn Park and share in the fun of watching competitive soccer! Bay Area Soccer League P.O.
