“Bay Path University New Student Transition and Orientation programs serve to establish the foundations for connection, preparation, and transition to college life and learning for students, their families and champions.” “Bay Path supports students through various transitions through Admissions, Advising Days, Wildcat WELLcome Week, and the WELL program, providing resources for learning, leading, and finding one’s purpose, clarifying expectations and goals, and building a community where each individual is validated and celebrated.” Participants in Wildcat WELLcome Week connect, prepare for college life and learning, and will: ● Meet peers, faculty, and staff to begin building a learning community and class identity; ● Review guidelines for healthy and ethical living and learning on campus; ● Prepare for the first semester by enhancing readiness (academic, technological, financial, etc.); ● Explore the Longmeadow campus, the greater campus community, and Bay Path campus culture; ● Know their rights and responsibilities within the campus community; ● Know campus resources and services that will enhance their academic success and overall undergraduate experience: ● Understand the primary elements of the social and personal development transition process: ● Prepare for the next step in acclimation to WELL …
