Key Campaign Dates
God has given us a mission to impact our church, our community, and our world with the life changing message of the Gospel. In December 2012, we moved into our new building where the “Good News” has been faithfully proclaimed and lives have been profoundly changed. Here at BBBC we know that buildings don’t change lives, but what happens inside them does!
October 18 Campaign Kick-Off Distribution of Newsletter
With this in mind, I am excited to announce that we are moving forward with the construction of the remaining portion of our master building plan. Right now we are “bursting at the seams” and need more space for children, teen and adult ministries. In an effort to pay for this new construction and retire our current debt, we are launching a stewardship campaign called “Our Foundation, Our Faith, Our Future.” As a church, we believe that our foundation is on Christ, our faith is in Christ, and our future is with Christ. Jesus came to “heal the broken-hearted and set the prisoners free” and He has called us to carry on His mission. That is why the local church really is the hope of the world! It’s important to remember that a stewardship campaign is not just about giving money, it’s about giving your heart. Jesus said, “Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” I hope each one of you will prayerfully consider the role God wants you to play in this campaign. I pray that God will enable us to be the “hope of the world” as we pursue His purpose together.

What is a Capital Campaign ?
Yo u r Fa i t h J o u r n e y Your opportunity to join this Faith Journey is here! If each of us accepts a small piece of this project, we can get this big job done! This is not a campaign of only a few doing most of the work. We are committed to working together prayerfully and our journey will involve many people who will each perform a small task to accomplish our goal. Our campaign will allow us to grow in our faith as we learn more about stewardship and will give everyone the opportunity to make a three year financial commitment over and above their regular giving. Will you prayerfully consider how important this project will be for our future as a church? If you would like to become involved, please don’t hesitate to let us know! We have opportunities available for you to serve on the All Church Event Team, The Call Team and the Prayer Team. Give us a call at the church office for more information. Our prayer is that this Faith Journey will lead each of us through a spiritual process that will ultimately find us on our knees asking, “Lord, so that you can accomplish your purposes through Boynton Beach Community Church, what role do you want me to play in terms of sacrificing my time, talent and treasures?” During the next few weeks, we will be led through the process of looking beyond our individual circumstances to the broader scope of how God is at work. We expect to experience the following benefits through our campaign:
A greater understanding of God’s plan for provision and stewardship
Spiritual growth and an increased faith in God and His Word
A personal understanding of God’s plan for BBCC and a greater sense of unity and purpose in our church family
We are excited as we anticipate how God will work through His people to meet this challenge! We look forward to building ministry space which will allow us to pour our lives into others showing His grace and love to a lost and hurting world!
