Leaves
Fungi Some fungi can be poisonous so never touch or pick any unless a grown up tells you it is safe. Every time you see fungi add a tick in the space below.
Lots of leaves have already fallen from the trees. Collect 3 leaves to take home with you. If you put them in a book and pile more books on top in a week you will have a perfectly flat pressed leaves. Are the leaves you can see dry or wet?
feathers Can you find any feathers on the ground? Some feathers are big and some are small. Write down the colour of any feathers you find below.
trees berries Can you see trees? Do they still have leaves on them? If the do they might be evergreen trees. Evergreen means they stay green all year round. Take the spare piece of paper that your grown up brought and the crayon and make a bark rubbing.
Can you find any bright red, orange or yellow berries? You must never eat berries that you find outdoors as they may make you feel poorly. Do you know which creatures eat red holly berries?
