Prudential 401k/457 Request for Disbursement • The Plan Authorization section is to just verify the employee’s termination date. – BEACON sends this information each payroll to Prudential

Position Transfers by BEST • BEST HR will complete position transfer and the PA action per the following Agency requirements: – Minimum of at least 10 transfers • Less than 10 complete the position and the employee transfer with a PCR
– Changes must come from the Central Office – Initiator will ensure Budget Office and all other appropriate managers approved the position changes – Transfer actions will unlikely be completed in retro. The effective date will be the date we process the transaction. • Causes too much manual work
– Ensure that all PCRs are completed on both the position and employee that is being transferred – Any manual PA actions will be sent to the Agency for completion – Use the current OM spreadsheet 7

Updating Phone Numbers • Please update your phone numbers in BEACON • Use PA 30 to update infotype 105

Payroll Updates • Back pay awards and settlements – Need complete package at BEST by June 1 to be processed in this fiscal year – Coordinate with your budget staff on carry-forwards if needed
• Outstanding payroll checks more than 30 days old – BEST will send list to agencies for follow-up

BI Feature Report • Demonstrate or review a BI Reports • Try to select a report that is relevant each month to the current business needs • Welcome any report you would like us to review/demonstrate • BI Training – BI 210 – BI Reporting http://www.osc.nc.gov/beacon/images/bi_reporting.gif – BI 400 – BI Reporting Workshop. In house 3 hour training class available once a month.
