DAY ONE 4:00pm Check into your vacation rental home and get settled! Stock the fridge, get the lay of the land, and claim your bedroom. 4:30pm Kick your vacation off with happy hour at Black Diamond Bistro, which runs daily from 3:00pm – 6:00pm. Sip a summertime cocktail on the restaurant’s deck overlooking the mountain. 6:00pm Take a stroll up to Beaver Creek Village and enjoy a nice dinner at Golden Eagle Inn. Insider Tip: Try the Rocky Mountain Elk Meatloaf or North American Elk for a taste of Colorado. 8:00pm Return to your home-away-from-home for an early night – tomorrow, the real fun begins!

DAY TWO 8:00am Come around slowly this morning and enjoy a nice breakfast on your rental’s balcony or deck. Whip up some fresh veggie egg wraps for a satisfying start to the day. 9:30am Familiarize yourself with the mountain! Take a gondola ride up to the top and explore the trails on foot. Download a trail map to navigate and find the right path for everyone’s skill level. 12:00pm When your stomachs start growling, head to Spruce Saddle for some lunch right on the mountain. At 10,200 feet, you’ll get unrivaled views of the Gore Range and Eagle River Valley. Insider Tip: Try the lobster tacos and hit the organic salad bar. 1:30pm After a morning spent exploring, head back to your rental home to relax. If you have access to a pool, take a refreshing dip while the kids splash around. 6:00pm When everyone’s refreshed and ready, head back over to Black Diamond Bistro for dinner. Insider Tip: Order a few of the artisan pizzas to sample and share as a group. 8:00pm For some after dinner entertainment, check out the schedule at Vilar Performing Arts Center and catch a show. If the kids are itching to see the latest flick, head to Riverwalk Theatre in nearby Edwards.

DAY THREE 7:30am Today’s action-packed, so get an early start with some breakfast in your rental. Whip everyone up some yogurt parfaits – layer Greek yogurt, fresh berries and granola. Scramble up eggs for an added energy boost. 9:00am Grab your gear and head out for a day of rafting with Timberline Tours. Pick the tour that matches your group’s ages and ability levels – choices range from floating to more adventurous, adrenaline-boosting rides. 12:30pm After braving the rapids, take the crew for lunch at Blue Moose Pizza. Insider Tip: Bring along some crayons so the kids can enjoy a coloring session on the paper tablecloths while they wait for their food. 2:00pm Head back to your rental and relax before dinner. If your rental has access to a pool, let the kids have some fun in the sun while you dive into a good book. Or let everyone catch some afternoon ZZZs. 6:00pm Enjoy dinner at 8100 Mountainside Bar & Grill, a lively spot that specializes in local, natural and organic dishes and features Colorado’s best microbrews and local wines. Insider Tip: Dine outside so you can take in those Rocky Mountain vistas. 8:00pm Back at your rental home, gather up the group for a fun family game night!

DAY FOUR 7:30am Hit the town early and grab some pastries and coffee at Starbucks in the Village. Window shop while you drink your brew and eye up any souvenirs you might want to come back for. 8:30am Play a round of 18-holes at the Beaver Creek Golf Club with its long and narrow, challenging fairways and stunning scenery. If golf isn’t your game, grab some bikes from Charter Sports and hit Vail Pass. 1:00pm After working up a sweat, enjoy some lunch at The Rendezvous Club right at the golf course. If you’d rather head back to your rental home, heat up some leftovers from last night’s dinner for a nice and easy lunch. 2:30pm Block off your afternoon for some real relaxation. Have the grandparents enjoy quality time with the kids while you book yourselves a massage at Spa Struck. Insider Tip: After your session, hit the pools and hot tubs. 6:00pm Make use of Beaver Creek Village’s free transportation and head off for a fine French dinner at Mirabelle. Insider Tip: Order the Colorado Rack of Lamb or the Roasted Elk Filet for a local taste. 8:00pm After dinner, stroll the Village and take in some of that crisp mountain air before heading back to your rental home.

DAY FIVE 7:30am Get the whole family involved in whipping up some blueberry pancakes and brew a fresh pot of coffee. Dine outside if your rental has a deck or balcony, so you can wake up with some fresh mountain air. 10:30am Have Nova Guides pick you up for a guided ATV Tour. Starting at 9,200 feet, you’ll reach an elevation of 12,500 feet and catch views of four different mountain ranges, gorgeous alpine meadows, historic Camp Hale and the Continental Divide. 12:00pm As part of your ATV Tour, enjoy lunch at an elevation of 9,200 feet at McAllister’s Grill in Nova Guides’ scenic lodge at Camp Hale. Insider Tip: Order the Battle Mountain BLT in honor of the site’s WWII history. 1:30pm After your tour, make the quick drive east for some shopping in Vail. There are hundreds of shops from boutiques to mountain gear stores. Find the perfect cowboy boots, jewelry, apparel or art to remember your trip. 5:30pm While you’re in Vail, grab an early dinner at La Bottega. Get a table on the sunny patio and indulge in some fine Italian classics. Insider Tip: You can’t pass up the pasta dishes. 8:00pm When you get back to your rental, gather the family together on the couch with a good movie or get a head-start on a full night’s sleep.

DAY SIX 8:00am Gather up the crew and head out for a nice morning hike to Beaver Creek Lake. Fill up on a hearty cereal before you go and make sure to pack some granola bars and water bottles. 12:00pm After spending the morning outdoors and working up a sweat, treat yourselves to lunch at Golden Eagle Inn. Insider Tip: Order the Special Salad for a fresh, local taste. 1:30pm Once you’re refreshed, hit the trails! Bike the path to nearby Edwards and relax next to the Eagle River. Cool off after the ride with some homemade, small batch ice cream at Sundae. 3:00pm Cruise back to your rental home to rest up for your last night on the town. If your rental has access to a pool, take a dip. Or, kick back on your deck or balcony with a good book. 7:00pm Enjoy your last evening in Beaver Creek with dinner at Grouse Mountain Grill with its award-winning contemporary American dishes. The chef uses summer produce from his local garden, and the incredible jazz pianist Tony Gulizia plays live every night.

DAY SEVEN 10:00am After packing up and checking out of your rental home, drive west and have a delicious brunch at Vintage in Vail. Insider Tip: Start with the freshly baked pastries, and take your time reliving the week’s best moments before you head out of town.
