BECKLY AUTUMN 2015 NEWS LETTER October half term Session Themes we will be finding out about Autumn celebrations around the World including Halloween so there will be some dressing up, face painting and pumpkin carving as well as baking some harvest breads November Weekend Sessions Our theme for this month will be “”Life Skills ”” For the first week of November we will be finding out about Guy Fawkes and making our own fire work craft displays about the firework safety code. During the rest of the month we will focusing on learning and practicing some essential life skills, cooking, cleaning, looking after our clothes, trying out a bit of first aid, practising a fire drill. We will be out and about raising our awareness of road safety and practising using public transport (bus passes please if you have them)
All sessions will include a mix of activities to compliment the themes using all of the resources available at Beckly including our sensory and soft play space. A packed lunch including a drink and a change of clothes / personal care supplies will be needed for each session and a rucksack or bag to carry it all in OUTDOOR CLOTHING SUITABLE FOR THE WEATHER CONDITIONS INCLUDING WELLIES PLEASE Activity leader Gina Clarke is our regular session leader and as the first point of contact for parents and carers. Gina can be contacted by email using the usual address, [email protected] or by leaving a message on the answerphone in the Beckly Office on 01752 484433 Survey Thank you to everyone who returned the survey forms. If you would like to pass on your comments as well then please contact the Office for a survey to complete so that we can ensure future activities, sessions, and programmes best fit families’ needs. Updating registration information We have been passing out new registration and consent forms to families whose children’s forms so that we can make sure we have uptodate background information especially contact phone numbers and other key matters. Please help us by completing and returning the forms even if you think that nothing has changed
