GOD'S PLAN FOR CONTENTMENT
1. Develop a thankful attitude. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good! His faithful love endures forever. - 1 Chronicles 16:34
Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus. - 1 Thessalonians 5:18
2. Establish a habit of “first fruits” giving.
Bring all the tithes into the storehouse so there will be enough food in my Temple. If you do,” says the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, “I will open the windows of heaven for you. I will pour out a blessing so great you won’t have enough room to take it in! Try it! Put me to the test! - Malachi 3:10
3. Seek God's will. But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. - Matthew 6:33
4. Establish priorities. For the love of money is a root of all kinds of evil. Some people, eager for money, have wandered from the faith and pierced themselves with many griefs. - 1 Timothy 6:10
5. Reject a fearful spirit. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:6-7
I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. - Philippians 4:13
6. Trust God's promise. The peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 4:7
7. Be Content! Yet true godliness with contentment is itself great wealth. - 1 Timothy 6:6
