Customers want to assemble their Binder panel mount connectors themselves. To enable a versatile response to low-quantity demands, we also offer our panel mount connectors with solder contacts. In previous metal versions, the contacts were installed so far into the housing that it was difficult to solder them. The solder cups are now arranged such that they protrude out of the housing slightly. This means that they can no longer be surrounded by potting compound, which can have detrimental effects on the voltage to be applied. Both versions are available in metal or plastic housings. Other housing designs and types of coding are available as options.
