Opening a Workspace App 1. Touch the 'Work' folder to display its contents.

2. Launch the 'Work' app.

3. Whenever you haven't opened a workspace app in a while, BlackBerry UEM will ask you for your workspace password. Key in your password then touch 'GO'.

4. This is your Inbox.

The Workspace Launcher This is the workspace launcher. Touch it to show shortcuts to the different sec ons of the workspace.

Composing & Sending an E-mail 1. Touch the +envelope icon.

2. Touch the 'To' field.

3. Begin typing the name of the addressee. Matching entrees from the GAL Contacts (global addressbook) will begin to appear. In this example, 'help' was being typed, and 'Help Desk' appeared. Touch the contact you want to send to.

4. Touch the 'Subject' field then key in the subject.

5. Touch the message area (it's below the subject) then key in the message.

6. Touch the triangular send icon to send the message.

7. You will be returned to the Inbox as a 'Sending message...' no fica on appears near the bo om of the screen.

Replying to an E-mail 1. With the message opened, touch the reply icon (arrow poin ng le ).

2. Touch the message area (it's below the subject) then key in the message.

3. Touch the triangular send icon to send the message.

4. You will be returned to the original message as a 'Sending message...' no fica on appears near the bo om of the screen.

A aching a File to an E-mail 1. Compose a message as you normally would. Touch the ⋮ (op ons) icon.

2. Touch 'A ach file'.

3. In this example, we will be a aching a Word document that is already on the phone. Touch 'Docs'.

4. No ce that it says '0 selected items' at the bo om of the screen. We are going to a ach the file 'Document One.docx', so we have to select it. Long-press (touch and hold) the filename un l the file's icon changes into a checkmark.

5. The file 'Document One.docx' has now been selected (as indicated by the checkmark beside its filename and the '1 selected items' at the bo om of the screen. Touch the ◀ back icon to return to the message we were composing.

6. No ce the blue paperclip icon indica ng that this message now has 1 a achment. Touch the triangular send icon to send the message.

7. You will be returned to the Inbox as a 'Sending message...' no fica on appears near the bo om of the screen.

Sending an Encrypted E-mail 1. Compose a message as you normally would. Touch the ⋮ (op ons) icon.

2. Touch 'Set Security'.

3. Touch 'Encrypt message'.

4. No ce the padlock icon to the right of the subject, indica ng that this message will be encrypted when sent. Touch the triangular send icon to send the message.

5. You will be returned to the Inbox as a 'Sending message...' no fica on appears near the bo om of the screen.

Opening/Viewing Microso Office Files A ached to E-mails 1. With the message opened, touch the a achment icon (paperclip) to show the list of a ached files.

2. In this example, there are three a achments (1 Word, 1 Excel, and 1 PowerPoint file). Touch the download icon.

3. All of the a achments will begin downloading.

4. When all of the a achments have been downloaded (no ce the file sizes under the filenames: 63KB Document, 9KB Spreadsheet, 55KB Presenta on), touch the ⋮ (op ons) icon for A achments.

5. Touch 'Save all'.

6. Touch 'Choose des na on'.

7. Touch the checkmark ✓ at the bo om-le of the screen. This will permanently save the a achments into the 'Local Docs' area of the workspace.

8. Touch the launcher icon.

9. Touch the 'Docs' icon. The Docs app is used to view documents; it will not allow you to edit or make changes to documents.

10. Here are the files that have been saved into the 'Local Docs' area of the workspace Touch each document to open and view them.
