bLoyal Data Imports Maximize the Value of Your New Solution Import Data from Your Legacy Systems If you are migrating from legacy systems, you will probably want or need to import data from these systems into you bLoyal solution. This is a good opportunity to analyze your existing data and asses its usefulness. Importing solid and clean data into your new bLoyal solution will help you enhance its value from day one. There are three ways to import data into bLoyal. All of your data may come from one of the options below, or a combination thereof, as may be applicable.
1. From Third Party Integrated Systems If your solution includes third party systems with a Certified bLoyal Integration, your core data will synch automatically with your new account. This is the fastest and easiest way to bring your legacy data into your new solution. No additional cost applies for this type of data import.
2. Using the bLoyal Data Import Tools If your data is not coming from an integrated system you can use the Import Tools that form part of your bLoyal solution. These tools allow you to import data from a comma or tab delimited file. Microsoft Excel templates and guidance so that you can extract the data from your legacy system.
Map the data into the appropriate columns in an Excel worksheet. Save it in the appropriate .csv or .txt file formats. You can then import these files into your bLoyal Account using the Import Tools. If your team is able you can complete these imports internally. No additional cost applies if you choose this option.
3. Leverage bLoyal’s Consulting Services Alternatively, you can always count on the bLoyal Consulting Team to help you import your legacy data into your account. There are different types of data sets that you may want to import . At a high level, the assisted data import process is as follows:
bLoyal will provide you with the applicable Microsoft Excel file formats for each data set you want to import. bLoyal will work together with you in up to two review sessions (up to one hour each) to ensure that the interpretation and subsequent mapping and formatting of all data fields is complete and accurate for import.
You will export the data from the legacy system to the bLoyal provided formats. bLoyal will perform two imports (one test import and one go-live import) of the .csv or .txt files into your account. bLoyal will perform import quality assurance.
