Step 1 — Remove back cover. 

Remove the back cover on the phone with the plastic opening tool.



Remove battery with plastic opening tool.

Step 3 — Remove screws 

On the bottom part of the back of the phone with a Phillips screwdriver #00 tool remove the 6 screws that hold the speaker in place.



After removing screws gently pull off the speaker from the back of the phone.

Step 4 — Remove speaker plastic backing

Step 5 — Remove speaker. 

Remove the speaker from the backing of the speaker holder.



Replace the old speaker with a new speaker. Put it back in where the old speaker was.

Step 6 — Replace speaker.

Step 7 — Put the screws back on 

Insert the plastic backing of the speaker back in the phone.



Put the six screws back in the backing of the phone to hold the plastic backing securely.
