BLWYDDEN NEWYDD DDA! A big welcome back. We hope you enjoyed the Christmas holidays and we would like to wish you all a Happy New Year. The children have settled in very well to the new term. This is an important term as the children will be sitting their National Tests in May. Therefore it is essential that they attend school regularly and are punctual so that they do not miss out parts of their education. The school council have been reviewing their action plan. Last term they managed to ensure Ipads were in all classroom and helped each class to have a new selection of books. They also made sure that every classroom had a school menu available for children to look at. This term we will be updating our action plan and we will be raising money towards accomplishing some of our bigger goals such as, having astroturf on the MUGA! Please could we also remind Year 3 and 4 to bring in their trip form and letter for next Friday.
MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE Please can we just remind parents athat we need up to date telephone numbers and email accounts. Please can you just call in at the office and provide us with them. Thank you. YEAR 5 and 6 HOMEWORK CHALLENGE Year 5 and 6 have received a grid of fun homework tasks about China to complete over the term. For each task they attempt they will receive points. The points will be turned into raffle tickets for a prize draw at the end of the term. The more challenges they complete, the more chance they have of winning. Enjoy!
