Scales was signed as an undrafted free agent by the New York Jets in 2011 but was later released. He played for the Edmonton Eskimos of the Canadian Football League in 2012.

C.J. Lovett, FHSU 2006-09 A native of Thornton, Colo., Lovett was an AllAmerican in 2008. His 13 career interceptions at Fort Hays State are second-most in school history. Lovett would have set the single-season and career punt return average records by a landslide if he would have returned one more kick in 2009. He was a six-time All-MIAA selection (earning defensive back and kick return honors in the same year twice) and was the MIAA Freshman of the Year in 2006. He was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2010 and participated in summer mini-camp.

Nathan Lindsey, FHSU 2013-14 A native of Inkster, Mich., Lindsey played two years at FHSU as a defensive back. He recorded 85 tackles, four interceptions, one sack, and one kickoff return for a touchdown in his career at FHSU. He earned All-MIAA Second Team honors in 2014. Lindsey was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in the summer of 2015 by the Detroit Lions and participated in summer mini-camp.

Wesley Yarbough, FHSU 2008-09

Ed Williams, FHSU 2012-14

A native of Missouri City, Texas, Yarbough played two years at FHSU on the offensive line. He was a Preseason All-American selection in 2009. He was a two-time All-MIAA selection earning first team honors as a senior. He was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in 2010 and participated in summer mini-camp.

A native of Tampa, Fla., Williams played wide receiver for three years at FHSU. He earned All-MIAA First Team honors in 2014 by catching 53 passes for 946 yards with seven touchdowns. For his career at FHSU, he finished with 86 receptions and 1,617 receiving yards, averaging 18.8 yards per catch. Williams was signed as an undrafted rookie free agent in the summer of 2015 by the Green Bay Packers.
