Book Drive ● We collected over 300 books for various elementary and middle schools located in Detroit Public Schools and donated them through Rx Reading for Detroit ● Goals: ○ Collected books of various reading levels ○ Received books from all over the community ○ Collected baby books, chapter books and informational books
○ We were able to get the community to think about reading and how fundamental it is ○ Our goal was to show how important it is for young kids to know how to read and have the books available to do so Pictures:
